Are weather reports starting to show effects on commodities?

Skimming through commodities charts leads me to believe that most maybe trying to find a bottom.
I would most definitely look at each one case by case. Marvin G.Perez has an article at www.futuresmag.com on some of the crop reports/news out of Brazil. One things for sure in my 'neck of the woods' we have had monsoonal type rains all summer while the plains and Midwest is going through drought conditions again this year. A report 2 years ago by the Army corps.of engineering explained that the drought seasons of 2 years ago was just the beginning of a longer term cycle. I was skeptical until lately where this seems to be coming true. On a local level (southeast) the  wet conditions should have an impact on peanuts and cotton. The global impact (of my neck of the woods) is probably a drop in the bucket.
